Singapore Night Festival With Yen 0 23 August 2025

Another Singapore Night Festival and this time it has more activities in various stations as compared to before!

We met at 6pm (i was late, 6.15pm) at Bugis and we walked to Fortune centre to have viet food.

From there, I asked chat gpt for advice how to enjoy the Night Festival from the starting point Fortune Centre:

**Fortune Centre → Stamford Arts Centre → Objectifs → NAFA → National Museum → Cathay Green → Plaza Singapura**

## 🚶‍♀️ Walking Route (Approx. 2.5 km, \~3,500–4,000 steps)

1. **Stamford Arts Centre – The Garden of Stories**

* Immersive installation where ordinary objects light up and “tell stories.”

The front Courtyard has so many olden times items like clogs, metal mug, measuring of masses etc.



We had some much fun at the Stamford Arts Centre- we spent almost 1 hour at level 1 enjoying various activities.

Yen ling bought a coaster at $5 @ the Chokmah workshop for a pressed flower acrylic coaster for her work station and it is even cheaper and prettier than those displaced ones!

And the outcome

But Yen0 managed to get 1 in!
At this point in time, the 🪱 has not come into our lives.
It started when we went to attend a cultural activity!
We were given a flower and it was on a flower!

We took many shots and the last few attempts is all because we want to include the flower!

The 🪱 is hidden and nowhere to be seen.
This worm followed us from standford art centre to Plaza Singapura and then me to bishan!
One of the personal asked if Yen 0 and myself would like him to help us to take a photo! Because he saw us staged the photo for sooo long.

We went to try out Indian wood block painting that uses peranakan motifs 

Yen 0's design. Looked like a cartoon fish!

I also did at another corner.

From then on, all the photos we took have the 🪱. 


2. **Objectifs Courtyard – Waterloo Street Stories**

* Photo + performance showcase, with sounds and narratives tied to the district.

Along the way, we saw dogs and cat installation and we took photo with it.



### 3. **NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts)**

* Expect student-led and contemporary art installations.

A glass display showcase along Bencoolen Street at NAFA Campus 1- "Hue"manity as well as Dandelions.

The 🌼,  I meant the 🪱 is also in the frame!

4. **National Museum of Singapore – MOSAIC Projection Mapping**

* Projection mapping show plays every night (7:30 PM–11 PM), \~5 mins per cycle.

This is the part of the projection- "Balestier houses i liked ".

5. **Cathay Green – Sky Castle**

it is paid admission of $5 but we didnt pay at all. 

* Interactive light arches that respond to your movement. 

After watching the video, you will know why buying a coaster is better than the admission ticket.


As usual, it must take in the photo!


6. **Plaza Singapura – Cyberswordfish V2.0**

* Giant neon swordfish built from e-waste, perfect for photo ops.



The end of the night festival ended with 🪱 following me home and it is rested at this pot.
It is still around the next day when I came back from 🧘‍♀️ at 1230pm!

Mama & Yin Yin 8 Day Jiang nan trip Day 2

After breakfast, we went to stroll West Lake Sceanic Area and enjoy Viewing fish at Flower Harbor.  The "Three Pools Mirroring the Moon" (三潭印月) is a famous structure in West Lake, Hangzhou, China, known for its unique and captivating scenery. It consists of three small, gourd-shaped stone pagodas placed in the water, each about two meters tall, that create the illusion of multiple moons reflecting in the lake during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The pagodas have five small, round holes that, when illuminated by candles or lanterns, cast the light onto the water, creating the effect of multiple reflections, especially on the clear water surface.  Before dinner, we went to see a Large-scale song and dance show, the symbolic performance of Hangzhou- 宋城千古情 Them we were given some time to take photo in the Song Dynasty Set-up. Yen 0 and my trip to The Little Prince

Yen ling and I went to The Little Prince exhibition at the Park view Square You will watch a less than 30 min video on The Little Prince before photo taking. After which, we went to a Generative machine and we had some fun time! This is inspired by Van gogh. Look at my clothes. The human figuring became like that. Yen Ling black top became blue! This is another machine. I think is by Monet. My eyes were closed. The A.I gave me a pair of eyes! A guy was watching the art work behind us and he was featured inside! See before and after. These 2 photos I happened to close my eyes. Eyes were given to me!  The place is even more fun than the interactive exhibition by The Little Prince. I ended with a "post card"- it is the qorda from artist and the artist is Van Gogh to me The A.I.scanned my face and this is what the artist wants to say to me.
