Day 3 Milan Italy 9 day trip 7 Dec-18th Dec)
Welcome to Milan, Capital of Italy’sfinance and fashion industries.
Start our day with a tour in Milan. Its origins are believed to be Celtic but it was conquered by Romans in 222 BC and became a major trading and transport centre. From the 13th Century, the city flourished under the rules of two powerful families – the Visconti followed by the Storza. Uponarrival, we started our half day sightseeing in Milan which brings us to the Gothic Cathedral and the famous La Scala Opera House.
We visited the shop at the famous 19th century Gallery Victor Emmanuel 2nd a large glass-roofed building often called the living room of Milan, enhanced by the elegance of some of Milan’s finest stores. Beware! There are always people stand by the side of the shopping area. They tend to ask you for donation to buy their friendship bands, roses or sign petition!
Not to be missed is the Milan Duomo, which is the core of Milan!
Inside is safer as there are only pick pockets and these people who asked for do actions are kept outside!
